We're wrapping up our 2026–2027 Brains & Books season with Military Culture Shift by Corie Weathers—and it feels like a fitting place to end our year.

Military culture is changing. Generations are changing. The way people communicate, connect, volunteer, lead, build community, and experience military life is changing too.

Military Culture Shift explores how decades of war, generational differences, evolving family dynamics, technology, and changing expectations have shaped today's military community—and asks us to consider what needs to evolve with it.

For our final conversation, we'll bring the discussion home. What changes are we seeing in our own military communities? What traditions still serve us well? Where might we need to adapt? And how can leaders build connection and community in an environment that looks different from the one previous generations experienced?
