OLS collects information from interested parties who opt-in to learn more about our mission. This data is used strictly to communicate OLS initiatives and send emails regarding our upcoming events and important policy changes. By accessing this website, signing up for OLS updates, or participating in OLS programs, you agree to comply with these Terms & Conditions. You represent that you are at least 18 years of age and possess the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.
B. Purpose of the Site & Non-Endorsement Disclaimer
This website provides information regarding the OLS mission and programs. The content is for informational purposes only. Reference to any specific commercial products, processes, or services by trade name or trademark does not constitute or imply endorsement by by OLS, the Department of Defense (DoD), or the U.S. Government.
C. Events, Programs, & Services: Changes & Cancellations
OLS strives to provide accurate details regarding all seminars, recurring programs, and services including, but not limited to, the 2026 "Bloom" Spring Seminar, monthly Lunch & Learns, and the Brains & Book Club. However, we reserve the right to change dates, times, and locations, or to cancel events or programs entirely, without prior notice. OLS is not responsible for travel costs, personal arrangements, or other expenses incurred due to these changes or cancellations.
D. Intellectual Property & Media Rights
All content on this site including text, logos, flyers, seminar curricula, photography, video, and all media captured or produced by our Creative Volunteers, is the property of the Okinawa Leadership Seminar (OLS) unless otherwise noted.

Usage: You may not use OLS branding, reproduce seminar materials, or redistribute OLS media for commercial purposes without explicit written permission.

Media Release: By participating in OLS functions, you grant OLS the right to capture photography and/or video of yourself and your property for the purpose of marketing, promoting, and illustrating OLS. You waive any rights to financial remuneration or control over the use of your likeness in OLS media.
III. INFORMED CONSENT & WAIVER OF LIABILITY
A. Voluntary Release of Liability
By participating in OLS programs, you hereby release the Okinawa Leadership Seminar (OLS), its officers, Marine Corps Base (MCB) Camp Smedley Butler, the United States Marine Corps, the Department of the Navy, the United States Government, and all agencies and instrumentalities thereof (hereinafter “the Government”), from any and all liability, claims, and actions whatsoever resulting from your presence on any US military installation on Okinawa or your involvement in OLS.
B. Assumption of Risk
You acknowledge that participation involves inherent risks, including but not limited to: installation hazards (traffic, aircraft operations, strenuous activities), general risks (weather, physical conditions), and significant distances to medical facilities. You authorize emergency medical treatment by trained healthcare providers if needed during an OLS event.
C. Hold Harmless Agreement
OLS provides information free of charge and of an informational nature. Material presented is the property of the presenters and may not be reproduced without consent. You agree to hold harmless OLS and its volunteers for any liabilities arising from actions you may take based on the application or usage of any information presented by OLS.
